Training Qualifications UK is delighted to announce that we have been selected as finalists for not one, not two, but three FAB Awards 2019.

Now in its fifth year, the annual celebration of the awarding and assessment sector is held by the Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB) at the Marriott Hotel in Leicester. This is the first time that TQUK has been finalists for three of the prestigious awards which includes the highly sought-after ‘Awarding Organisation of the Year’ category.

Recap:

On the 8th September 2019, I will be running the UK Fast City of Salford 10k with friends and family in aid of Brain Tumour Research.

It’s going to be an incredibly proud day for me and my family as I run in memory of my mum, Julie, who we will have sadly lost 10 years ago on the 5th September and Pidda our much loved family friend, who we also lost this year after his own 10 year battle with tumours.

Training Qualifications UK is proud to be a member of the First Aid Awarding Organisation Forum. This group has been formed to support awarding organisations such as ourselves in maintaining the integrity and validity of first aid qualifications and ensuring they continue to meet the needs of employers.

The qualifications regulator Ofqual’s figures show that first aid qualifications are the most awarded qualifications in the country with approximately 400,000 people taking the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification each year.

Training Qualifications UK’s favourite charity, Hand on Heart, is hosting its fifth annual golf event on Thursday (5th September) and we’ll be there to support.

Supported by EPC-UK, the golf event aims to raise awareness of sudden cardiac arrest in young people and donations in order to assist the charity in supporting CPR and AED awareness activities in the local area including schools and the placement of lifesaving defibrillators in schools.
