The main purpose of this Level 3 Diploma in Fashion and Textiles is to develop learners’ knowledge and skills to support progression to further education/training or employment within the fashion and textiles industry. The qualification will provide learners with skills they need to be successful including techniques for handcraft tailoring, using machinery to produce tailored components, pattern cutting and construction of tailored skirts and trousers and design and fashion trends in the ready to wear market.
